Recruiting Background/What you enjoy about recruiting? My recruiting background is in the Information Technology industry. I have worked with and supported many companies from start-ups to large Fortune 500s. I enjoy working in this field because I love communicating with different people and establishing connections with different candidates. I even take IT classes on the side to improve my workflow and to better understand the industry.
Greatest (or most recent) professional success: One of my more recent success came from supporting the NSA and helping them find a candidate for their Senior Cloud Architect position. It was one of those roles that was open for almost a year, no candidate’s fit the description, and the candidate pool was small. I was able to find the perfect fit for the position and filled the role quickly. It doesn’t sound like much but staffing for 3 letter DOD agencies is quite the challenge.
Unique talents/interests: Other than studying IT on the side for fun, I have a soft side for studying Japanese. I have studied Japanese for 3 years and visited Tokyo a few times in the past. I hope to go again soon!
